The room heating left us feeling like we were baking, despite a non-functional fan. The tiny basin in the bathroom posed challenges—especially when trying to shave with taps that blocked the water flow. Dining options included an upscale menu featuring Nouvelle Cuisine. however, small portions left us wanting more, and extra charges for basics like lattes felt a bit off given the room price. the overly noisy pebble car park made opening windows a nuisance, deterring any chance of fresh air.

Had a fantastic time in this charming hotel, with its lovely nautical theme and cozy rooms. The dining experience was a highlight, especially enjoying a good meal overlooking the river. Plus, my dog loved the dog-friendly room. we felt very welcome!

The location was amazing. The food was seriously good, especially that brandy bread and butter pudding! The staff were magnificent.

Mornings featured a delightful buffet with granola among the choices, while the friendly staff contributed positively to the overall experience. Unfortunately, the evening dining service fell short, feeling rushed and overpriced, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable atmosphere. Limited options in nearby dining also added to the disappointment.

I loved staying here as it was just a short walk to Beaulieu Palace House and the beautiful trails along the river, making my exploration so enjoyable and seamless.

Had a really nice time! The room was cozy with an amazing view of the river. The staff were super friendly, and the dinner was delicious! The lounge was pretty chill too—comfy sofas and a big fire. Just wish the wifi was a bit faster. it was kinda slow.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the walk-in shower and the Nespresso machine in our room, which made mornings so much better. The garden has comfy chairs perfect for sipping coffee, and you can kick back by the fire when it gets chilly. Just a heads up, it would be nice to have some extra milk and biscuits for those late-night cravings. 😊
